Credit Repair

The reason Credit Matters exists today is because of our passion for helping people succeed in life. Our primary service is credit repair – a legal right that many consumers don’t know exists. Over the years, we’ve developed an approach that starts with understanding each client’s unique situation; and usually ends when our client achieves their financial goals. Call 800-531-7279 and let us know your unique goal – we truly want to help you get there!

What is Credit Repair?
Credit repair, also referred to as credit restoration, can result in the deletion of many derogatory accounts, which directly improves credit scores. Credit repair involves disputing the accuracy of account information in the credit report. Disputing derogatory accounts with the credit reporting agencies (CRAs), creditors, and collection agencies is a legal right afforded to consumers through provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other federal consumer protection laws.
How it Works
Upon receiving a dispute letter, a credit reporting agency legally has 30 days to attempt to verify the disputed information with the creditor. If any account information is incorrect, outdated or unverifiable, the account must be removed (or updated) from the credit report and the results of the investigation sent to the consumer within 5 days.
Why Credit Matters
We feel the difference between Credit Matters and most other companies, is that every employee (the owners included) firmly believes that every consumer deserves a solution that fits their financial need. We believe this actually makes the economy and our communities function better. Therefore, we believe that the only way we can truly help others is by listening and understanding their unique situation – their history, current monthly assets, debts, goals and other factors. Through our personal approach to game planning and advice, we can help bring your dreams and goals to life.
